Internet Technology and Applications

Course Description:
Describes the structure and function of the Internet and its applications. Topics include the TCP/IP Protocol Suite, Internet strategies and business models, Internet security (public key infrastructure and firewalls), and recent developments (XML and the semantic Web). Students will learn to script Web pages using HTML, and to program in JavaScript, and to script Web pages using Dreamweaver.
