Real Estate Finance and Capital Markets

Course Description:
The course covers the pricing and analysis of mortgages, leases, and mortgage-backed securities, as well as the US securities markets for these instruments. Moreover, important elements in the management of real estate portfolios will be introduced and discussed. Both Investments and Corporate Valuation are highly recommended as prerequisites for this class. In spring 2008, this prerequisite may be flexible on a case by case basis with permission of instructor.
