Course Description:
This course provides an introduction to the major theoretical approaches and ongoing debates in organization theory. Topics include theory-building, cross-level research, theories of organizational adaptation and evolution (e.g., behavioral theory, institutional theory, population ecology, and complexity theory), and specific organizational processes and outcomes such as change, learning, and reliability.
