Course Description:
The course addresses the fundamental business economics facing the delivery, financing and technology sectors of the health care economy. Particular attention is paid to understanding current conduct of firms and individuals within the health care industry through the lens of economics. Upon completion of the course students will have a heightened ability to understand the current industry structure as well as be better able to predict future action by firms and individuals. (Prerequisites: MGT 501a and MGT 503).
