Managing and Improving Processes

Course Description:
Is all about processes ? the fundamental ways in which work gets done in organizations. The course equips students with concrete skills for analyzing, improving, and controlling office, administrative, service, and manufacturing processes. Specific topics include: defining and understanding processes, eliminating waste from processes, the improvement cycle and tools, six sigma, statistical process control, and implementation issues (i.e. change and project management).
