Course Description:
This course provides an introduction to how statistical methods provide a direct way of dealing with a wide range of managerial problems. It focuses on exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis, and uses these methods to study the most important types of business models, and to develop even better ones. Students have the opportunity to use business data of their choice to construct models for estimation and prediction, that solve problems in which they have a particular interest. [2]
