Welcome Weekend 2011 Reception

On April 8th current students, faculty, staff, and alumni welcomed the Class of 2013 to Owen. Throughout the evening, the incoming class met their new colleagues, asked questions about the program, and learned more about life in Nashville. Professors Germain Boer and Larry Van Horn shared their insights with the new class over hors d’oevures. Current students gave tips on how to manage the transition to Owen and what to expect during Mod 1. The reception was followed by a student hosted trip to favorite hangouts near campus.

On April 9th many of the Class of 2013 attended breakout sessions in their areas of interest. Sessions provided an overview of Consulting and Strategy, Finance and Real Estate, Health Care, Human and Operational Performance, and Operations. The students learned more about the program offerings at Owen and future career paths.
