Unite for Haiti Benefit
Jan 30, 2010 | by Eleanor Williams
On Saturday January 30th, all six of the Vanderbilt graduate schools joined forces to host a fundraiser to support the earthquake relief effort in Haiti. The Unite for Haiti Benefit was held at Red Rooster from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and raised $7,258, excluding additional sales from T-shirts. The money will go to the following two organizations: The Comprehensive Development Project (CODEP) and The Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund. Over 600 students attended and were entertained by two student bands, one from the law school and Owen's very own TurboThrust! Overall it was a huge success and everyone had a fantastic time.
