Grant Kinnett

Grant Kinnett is responsible for Boyle Nashville’s retail property portfolio which consists of 800,000 square feet and over 1.8 million square feet in the planning and development stages. Since joining Boyle in 2006, Grant has been responsible for the leasing, sales and growth of Boyle’s Nashville retail portfolio as well as the financial underwriting and due diligence for multiple retail, office, industrial and mixed-use acquisitions and developments. Prior to joining Boyle, Grant was a Corporate Banking Officer with the Atlanta affiliate of Synovus Financial Corp where he financed a wide range of real estate projects and operating businesses throughout the Southeast. Before joining Synovus, he worked with the Atlanta law firm Morris, Manning & Martin, where he assisted the firm’s startup technology clients with business growth solutions and venture capital investments. Grant has been teaching the Real Estate Investment & Development class since 2010. 

Kinnett earned an MBA degree from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management with Beta Gamma Sigma honors in 2007, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Vanderbilt University in 2000.

Grant has been Chairman of the Young Leaders Group of the Urban Land Institute’s Nashville Chapter. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Grant has been a skilled supervisor for Habitat for Humanity and is involved in Boyle’s support of New Hope Academy, Boys & Girls Club of Williamson County, Big Brothers of Mt Juliet, and the Charles Davis Foundation. He is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Grant is the proud father of two young boys and is a die-hard Vanderbilt Commodores fan.
