All are invited to join the inaugural Community Celebration. Join with fellow alums, faculty, and staff as we commemorate the landmarks of the prior year, honor our outstanding contributors and enjoy an evening of connecting and celebration of our community.

Registration/check-in

Stay tuned for registration link! Registration deadline is March 24.

Complimentary parking for Alumni Weekend is available from 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, through midnight Saturday, April 6. Your best parking options are lots 5A and 5B (across from the law school, corner of 21st and Broadway) and Terrace Place garage (Terrace Place and 20th Avenue). Accessible parking is available at all the above locations as well as in Lot 6B (between Owen and the Divinity School). Do not park in any spaces marked “reserved.”

Attire

Dress for the Kickoff Barbecue and the Community Education Day is casual and comfortable, with more festive attire for evening parties, and cocktail attire for the Owen Circle Reception and Community Celebration Dinner.

To arrange for on-campus mobility assistance, please call the office of Development and Alumni Relations at (615) 322-0815.

Child care

Sitting services that provide sitters include Family Care Connection (615) 371-0600 or familycareconnection.net. and Nannies of Green Hills (615) 673-1150 or nanniesofgreenhills.com. These sitting services charge fees and require advance notice. Vanderbilt University and the Alumni Association assume no liability or responsibility for any childcare services, including the ones listed above.

Admissions office

Alumni are welcome to visit the Office of Undergraduate Admission and attend one of its daily group information sessions and/or campus tours. Information sessions and campus tours are offered Monday through Saturday at 10:00 AM. Additional information sessions and campus tours are frequently offered at 1:00 PM and/or at 2:30 PM. Please refer to the calendar to determine availability.
Reservations are required for any group information session or campus tour, as space is limited. Call (800) 288-0432 or (615) 322-2561 to reserve your place.

Student Recreation Center

Alumni will have free use of the Student Recreation Center during the weekend. Its hours are 5:30 a.m.–midnight Friday, 9 a.m.–10 p.m. Saturday, and noon–11 p.m. Sunday. Alumni must take their Owen Alumni Weekend name tags (available at registration) for free admittance. For information, call (615) 343-6627 or visit the website.

Vanderbilt bookstore

Visit the new bookstore—Barnes and Noble at Vanderbilt University—located at 2525 West End Ave. Bookstore hours are 8 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.–11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.–7p.m. Sunday.
