Refunds of Tuition and Dormitory Charges
University policy for the refund of tuition is to provide a percentage refund based on the time of withdrawal. Students who withdraw officially or who are dismissed from the university for any reason may be entitled to a partial refund in accordance with the established refund schedule, which may be viewed at www.vanderbilt.edu/stuaccts/summer_refund.html.
Requests for refunds must be made before the last day of classes of the semester in which the student was enrolled.
Financial Clearance
A student will not be permitted to attend classes for any module if there is an unpaid balance on his or her student account. Transcripts will not be released until the account has been paid.
Diplomas of graduating students will not be released until all indebtedness to the university is cleared.
