VMA is a student organization dedicated to enhancing the education and career goals of Vanderbilt MBA students. Members experience numerous opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in the field of marketing through various events, trainings and informational sessions. In addition, VMA offers mentorship programs, career management support and social activities designed to expand networking and foster new relationships.

Marketing Madness
Each winter, Vanderbilt MBA students stage a simulated tradeshow, where teams compete to win an award for the most successful marketing campaign. Teams use displays, games and contests to promote a range of products, including Heinz, Cottonelle, Manwich, the Nashville Predators, Dannon, Tyson, Harley Davidson, Miller, Sonic and E&J Gallo wines.
Owen Media and Entertainment Group
The Owen Media and Entertainment Group is targeted toward students with an interest in any area of Media, including interests in Music, Sports, Television, Entertainment, and Hospitality Management. Our goal is to help students obtain a better understanding of career opportunities in media-related fields as well as the curriculum as a whole at Owen.
