Cork & Barrel: Blind Wine Tasting Event

The Owen Cork & Barrel Society hosted their annual blind wine tasting event on September 29th. To participate, members formed teams of three and selected a South American red of their choice for each member of their team to bring as the entry fee. Each bottle of wine was disguised in a brown paper bag and assigned a number to ensure the impartiality of the event. Students recorded their comments and rankings based purely on taste, not appearance. The team whose wine received the highest rankings for the majority of participants took home all of the remaining bottles of wine, more than 30 in this case!
