Owen Tailgate: Vandy vs. Western Carolina

The season opener for Vanderbilt football was Saturday, September 5, against Western Carolina, and kickoff was at 6:30. The Owen tailgate took place at the regular spot in Vandyville with tents and corn-hole. The OSGA provided tons of cold beverages and the Owen Culinary Society demonstrated their skills on the grill. Students showed their support by wearing black and gold. It was a great day to start the season; Vanderbilt beat Western Carolina 45-0.
