After 5 years as a property and casualty producer in the commercial insurance industry, Andrew has returned to Owen to study commercial real estate and finance. While in business school, he has completed project work for Nashville Commercial Real Estate Services and Southeast Venture, LLC. He received his BA in Policital Science and History at the University of Tennessee.
Douglas Archibald

Doug Archibald is a second year MBA student at Owen. He is focusing his studies in on Finance, Real Estate, and Human and Organizational Performance. Doug’s received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University – Idaho. Prior to attending Owen, Doug worked as a project manager at a large commercial contracting firm in Utah, where he was able to work on a wide variety of construction projects. He plans on returning to Utah to continue working in the construction/real estate industry.
David Horwath

David HorwathJr. is in the Owen EMBA program. He is currently working as a Civil Design Manager for Actus Lend Lease, privatized military land developer and asset manager. David’s responsibilities include the management of civil, landscape architect, site electrical, survey, and geotechnical consultants at Fort Knox, KY and Camp Lejeune, NC. Prior to Actus Lend Lease, David worked as an Assistant Project Manager for Stantec Consulting in California. His work included managing five civil engineering teams for a 2,100 acre master planned community with a Greg Norman designed golf course, initial development and research of a 640 acre and 2,385 acre master planned community, multiple residential, recreational, and commercial feasibility studies and plan designs, and local business development.
David received his BS from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a native of Georgia. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer and owns Beautiful BelleElectrology in Brentwood, TN.
Parker Braun

Parker Braun comes to Owen from Fairfield University in Connecticut. During his time at Fairfield, Parker interned at Citi Smith Barney, performing equity research. Parker’s second internship experience was as a junior analyst at Taylor Investment Advisors, a fund of hedge funds, in Greenwich, CT. He completed his BS in Finance and Economics, and was a member of the Economics Honor Society. Parker is pursuing an MBA in Finance, Real Estate, and Entrepreneurship at Owen. His future career interests are in real estate investment and advisory.
William Stogner

Billy Stogner comes to Owen from Atlanta, Georgia. After Billy graduating with a biological sciences degree from Clemson University, he worked for an environmental consulting firm where he proposed and implementing reclamation projects for the Environmental Protection Agency. The three years proceeding Billy’s acceptance into Owen he worked for a top 5 alcohol distributor, where he managed a portfolio of over 5,000 products. Billy’s ambition is to utilize his biological sciences degree and his MBA in finance/real estate with an emphasis on environmental management to make the emerging green real estate market less trendy and more mainstream.
