Oliver Banks is a second year Health Care MBA and is concentrating in operations management. Prior to Owen, Oliver worked at both Saatchi & Saatchi in NYC and Publicis in Dallas, Texas. He is a graduate of SMU where he majored in Advertising Management. Oliver is currently working at the VUMC in the Emergency Department specializing in patient flow and triage operations. Additionally, he was married this past summer.
Chris Dooney
Executive Vice President
Chris Dooney is a second year Health Care MBA and is concentrating in finance and accounting. Prior to Owen, Chris worked at the Liberty Mutual Group in Brentwood, Tennessee as an account representative in its Commercial Market department. A native of Atlanta, George, Chris graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing. For his summer internship, Chris worked as an Associate at LifePoint Hospitals, Inc in Brentwood, TN. During this experience, he performed various financial modeling, valuation analysis and due diligence for the company’s acquisitions and divestitures of rural community hospitals. After graduation, Chris hopes to enter a career in Healthcare Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Private Equity/Venture Capital.
Josh Stewart
Vice President, Marketing
Josh Stewart is a second year Health Care MBA and is concentration in marketing. Prior to attending Owen, he was an analyst for Merrill Lynch Capital in Chicago. Josh graduated from Butler University with a B.S. in finance. His past summer was spent interning in Biologics Marketing at Medtronic Spinal and Biologics in Memphis. Upon graduation, Josh intends to pursue a career in medical device marketing or sales. Outside of Owen, Josh enjoys triathlon, international travel and cooking.
Patrick Walsh
Vice President, Finance and Operations
Patrick Walsh is a second year Health Care MBA and is concentrating in finance and accounting. Patrick grew up in Oklahoma City, and received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia. He spent his summer in the healthcare equity research group at Avondale Partners in Nashville concentrating in healthcare services and healthcare information technology His wife, Emily, is an attorney, and his dog, Wrigley, is a Cubs fan.
Sam Kale, PhD
Vice President, Informatics
Sam Kale is a first year Health Care MBA and is concentrating in Marketing and Strategy. Sam received his PhD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and his undergrad from Vanderbilt University. He plans to be married in January of 2007, provided he survives exams.
Andrea Moss
Associate Vice President, Informatics
Andrea Moss is a first year Health Care MBA and in concentrating in HOP and Marketing. Prior to Owen, Andrea was a technical sales manager in the fiber optic components and capital equipment industry. She grew up in Dallas and received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Upon graduation, Andrea intends to pursue a career in medical device product management, sales or business development. Andrea’s son Hunter is 2 years old.
