Mission Statement: The mission of the Vanderbilt Health Business Association (VHBA) is to offer its members unique opportunities to learn, lead, and succeed in preparing for the challenges of today’s highly competitive health care industry. The VHBA hopes to foster student understanding of the health care business, share knowledge of careers in the health care industry, provide opportunities for students to exhibit knowledge and skills to employers, and encourage and facilitate development of relationships among Owen students and the public and private sectors. Business Association Objectives: - Be a direct liaison between the student body, faculty, staff, and administration in the development and implementation of the Health Care MBA program
- Provide mentorship to those seeking employment within the health care industry
- Introduce our colleagues at Owen to the wealth of opportunities and companies which exist within the health care industry
- Educate our members on the current issue facing the health care industry
- Provide both a business and social means to interact with health care executives
- Develop the premier global health care MBA case competition.
