Mission Statement:
The mission of the Vanderbilt Health Business Association (VHBA) is to offer its members unique opportunities to learn, lead, and succeed in preparing for the challenges of today’s highly competitive healthcare industry. The VHBA hopes to foster student understanding of the health care business, share knowledge of careers in the health care industry, provide opportunities for students to exhibit knowledge and skills to employers, and encourage and facilitate development of relationships among Owen students and the public and private sectors.
Business Association Objectives:
- Be a direct liaison between the student body, faculty, staff, and administration in the development and implementation of the Healthcare MBA program.
- Provide mentorship to those seeking employment within the healthcare industry
- Introduce our colleagues at Owen to the wealth of opportunities and companies which exist within the healthcare industry
- Educate our members on the current issue facing the healthcare industry
- Provide both a business and social means to interact with healthcare executives
- Develop the premier global healthcare MBA case competition
